HOBART – The Northwest Indiana Quality of Life Council will hold an education summit, “Educating Our Way to a Better Economy,” at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Hobart High School, 2211 E. 10th St.

Discussion will look at the current regional economy, a Northwest Indiana job and employer survey and the state of the workforce in Northwest Indiana. The keynote speaker is by Martha Kanter, appointed Under Secretary of Education for the U.S. Department of Education by President Barack Obama.
