MERRILLVILLE – Lakeshore PAWS puppies and dogs will be available for adoption from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Phantom Fireworks in Merrillville on Saturday, June 25. In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday, June 26.
All dogs up for adoption will be spayed or neutered, have current vaccinations (including rabies) and be microchipped. Dogs also will be de-wormed and given treatments to prevent fleas and ticks.
Lakeshore PAWS was recently founded by Jeanne Sommer and Kim Langer as a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and protecting dogs and cats.
