Community Healthcare System recently expanded the Women’s Diagnostic Center at the Valparaiso Health Center of St. Mary Medical Center.

The center, at 3800 St. Mary Drive, Valparaiso, more than doubled its size on the second floor of its building with bigger exam rooms, promise of shorter wait times and more diagnostic equipment.

“This project reflects the continued growth of services provided by Community Healthcare System and demonstrates our commitment to investing in women’s health care in Northwest Indiana,” said St. Mary Medical Center CEO Janice Ryba in a press release.

The space opened in early April with a second mammography area, bigger radiology reading room and consultation suite. A ribbon cutting was celebrated April 24.
