VALPARAISO – The Southlake Children's Choir spring concert will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the Valparaiso University Chapel of the Resurrection.
“We can’t wait to hear the children’s voices soar in the chapel’s high ceilings,” said Rebecca Bailey, a board member of the choir, which has members from across Northwest Indiana.
“It’ll be a great learning experience for them; indeed, one of our missions is to give children performing experience in a wide range of conditions.”
The ensembles of the Southlake Children’s Choir will perform a wide variety of music, including classical and folk music, spirituals and Broadway show tunes, due to its upcoming performance trip to New York City.
