Merrillville-based Centier Bank announces the following executive and staff appointments:
Dan Gibson was promoted to director of talent development.
Gibson joined Centier in 2013 as an instructional designer, creating instructional content and training programs for sales, operations, and other change initiatives. Prior to joining Centier, Gibson worked in public education.
A graduate of Purdue University Northwest, Gibson is responsible for managing the learning function for the bank and a team of developers and trainers to establish a vision and strategies to grow associates’ skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Gibson is a member of the Association for Talent Development, board member for Lakeshore Public Media, and a volunteer with Junior Achievement.
Debi Gifford was named branch manager of the bank’s Griffith location.
Gifford joined Centier in 2005 as a universal banker before moving to operation supervisor in Lafayette, and was then promoted to assistant branch manager in Griffith in 2012.
Gifford also is a notary public, as well as a member of the Griffith/Highland Chamber of Commerce and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Centier operates more than 60 locations across Indiana and has more than $5.9 billion in assets.
