Centier Bank announces latest Region staff appointments, promotions

Monica Jenczalik

Merrillville-based Centier Bank announced the following staff appointments and promotions at its Northwest Indiana operations:

Monica Jenczalik joined the bank’s Lake County mortgage team. She will work at Centier’s Schererville east branch, 5191 W. Lincoln Hwy. Jenczalik joined Centier more than 10 years ago as a universal banker and then transferred to the commercial lending team.

Jaimie Griffith

Jaimie Griffith joined the bank's mortgage team. Griffith will work out of the bank’s Lowell branch at 1914 E. Commercial Ave. Griffith joined Centier in 2018 as assistant branch manager in Lowell. She has 15 years of retail banking and 10 years of consumer lending experience

Kimberly Traina

Kimberly Traina, St. John branch manager, was promoted to assistant vice president of the bank. Traina joined Centier Bank in summer 2017 as the assistant branch manager at the bank’s Merrillville location, before being promoted to St. John branch manager in 2019. Traina has nine years of banking experience.

Marcus Mayer
Marcus Mayer

Marcus Mayer was appointed branch manager of the bank’s Crown Point downtown branch at 117 E. Joliet St. Mayer joined Centier in 2020 after working a decade in management, including serving as branch manager at a financial institution.

Lauren Staten

Lauren Staten was promoted to officer of the bank. Staten is the branch manager at the Hobart Strack and Van Til in-store branch. Staten joined Centier Bank in 2015 and has worked in various banking roles for 12 years.  

Centier Bank has more than 60 locations around Indiana, serving in 11 counties with more than 900 employees and nearly $6 billion in assets.
