17 regional leaders named by NWIBQ

Seventeen leading Northwest Indiana CEOs, one CFO and community leaders for 2011 have been named according to results of the latest reader survey. Nominations were sought from Northwest Indiana Business Quarterly magazine business readers and peers.

“The region’s best business and community leaders were selected based on their leadership success, business acumen and involvement in the community,” says Glee Renick-May, owner and publisher of May Communications LLC.

The top CEOs were Desila Rosetti of Organizational Development Solutions Inc. of Westville; John Davies of Woodland Communications of Valparaiso; John P. Phair of Holladay Property Services of Portage; Julie Rizzo of U.S. Greenworks LLC of St. John; Laura Smith-Wynn of Indiana Parenting Institute Inc. of Merrillville; Mike Falk of PLI Engineering & Surveying in Portage; Peter Novak of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors in Merrillville; Rick Rondinelli of In Touch Pharmaceuticals in Valparaiso; Sarah Oudman of Treasure Homes Inc. in DeMotte; Stewart McMillan of Task Force Tips in Valparaiso; and Thomas F. Prisby of Citizens Financial Bank of Munster.

The top chief financial officer was Robert Lowry of Peoples Bank in Munster.

Community leaders were Sharon Sporman, executive director of Omni 41 Fitness in Schererville; Andrew Fox, president of the Chicago SouthShore and South Bend Freight in Michigan City; Noel Reitmeister, a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors in Merrillville; Heather Ennis, executive director of the Chesterton Chamber of Commerce; and the Rev. May and Willie Thomas of New Life Christian Center in Gary.
