SCHERERVILLE – Ground has been broken for Residences at Deer Creek, a senior living community at Deer Creek Professional Park. The 2.4-acre site will be home to 86 private assisted living and memory care units covering 80,000 square feet. The units are expected to open in the fall 2012.

White, based in Merrillville, said it will be the largest hotel in Austin, home to the University of Texas. Ground will be broken on the Austin Marriott Marquis in mid-2012.
