MERRILLVILLE – NiSource has announced plans to build a $150 million, 70-mile natural gas pipeline in Pennsylvania. The Big Pine Gathering System will have a capacity of 425 million cubic feet a day and will connect Columbia Gas Transmission, which is owned by NiSource, with pipelines operated by Texas Eastern Transmission and Dominion Transmission.
