Promet Energy to open in Gary

GARY – Promet Energy Partners LLC, a wholesaler of natural gas and electric power, will open an office in Gary. Promet, based in Chicago, opened in 2004 and has become a major energy management company. Promet has $100 million in sales. Its major customer is ArcelorMittal in East Chicago and Burns Harbor.
