LUXEMBOURG – ArcelorMittal has reported a second quarter net income of $959 million, a 37 percent decline from $1.535 million last year. The company said market conditions for steel have been difficult in the past 12 months. ArcelorMittal operates mills in East Chicago, Burns Harbor, Gary and New Carlisle in Northwest Indiana.
