EAST CHICAGO – SunCoke Energy Partners will acquire Lakeshore Coal Handling for $29.6 million. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of July.

SunCoke said it will continue Lakeshore Coal’s current operations in Northwest Indiana. Lakeshore Coal is a subsidiary of Beemsterboer Corp., and provides coal handling services at Indiana Harbor coke making facilities.
