MICHIGAN CITY – In partnership with the United Way of LaPorte County and the LaPorte County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, and in conjunction with the opening of the fifth annual Great Lakes Super Boat Grand Prix offshore powerboat race, the Northwest Indiana Leaders Young Professional Network will host their inaugural Brewers Brawl event at the Pavilion at Washington Park on Sunday, July 28.
General admission for age 21 and older is 3 p.m. with one-hour VIP early access available for an additional fee. General admission tickets are available at a discounted rate of $40, and VIP tickets are available for an additional $20 at www.brewersbrawl.com. T-shirts are also available for a $10 donation to the United Way or are included free of charge along with free food and limited early access to the event as part of the VIP ticket cost. Food will be available for purchase with general admission.
Regional brewers will compete to win best in class awards for best stout, best IPA and best wheat beer as well as the coveted “Best of Brawl” award. The day’s entertainment will include live music, “brew pong” competitions, prizes, a 50/50 raffle, food, drinks and fun. Parking is available on-site for $6 or for free at the Blue Chip with free designated transport to and from the event.
All proceeds benefit the United Way of La Porte County.
