New name, 2nd office for Harbour Wealth Management

Harbour Wealth Management has made several changes, including a brand refresh and a new Lake County office.

The firm celebrated its expansion into Lake County with a ribbon cutting Sept. 29 at 499 E. Summit St., Crown Point.

“This new office represents an exciting step forward for our firm,” said Stephanie Oberlie, president of Harbour Wealth Management, in a press release. “As we continue to grow, our focus remains on building lasting relationships and providing thoughtful guidance tailored to each client's goals.”

The location gives the financial services company room to grow.

“Establishing a presence in Crown Point allows us to better serve our existing clients while making our services more accessible to individuals and families throughout Lake County and the surrounding communities,” Oberlie said.

The firm's name also recently was changed to reflect the variety of services it provides. The firm formerly was known as Harbour Trust.

“Over the years, our services have expanded beyond traditional investment management,” Oberlie said. “Harbour Wealth Management better represents the breadth of fiduciary wealth planning, retirement strategy, and trust services we provide to individuals and families.”

Harbour Trust & Investment Management Co. remains the firm's legal entity. The new branding also does not signify an ownership change or change in operations.

“This change enhances our identity, but it does not alter our commitment,” said Robert Rose, chief executive officer and chairman at Harbour Wealth Management, in a press release. “Our responsibility to act in the best interests of our clients remains unchanged.”

Harbour, which was founded in 1997, rolled out a refreshed website and other collateral Sept. 1.

“Our clients’ financial lives have grown more complex over time,” said Mike Hackett, senior vice resident and director of wealth advisory services and marketing at Harbour Wealth Management. “This brand refresh acknowledges that reality and reflects our commitment to remaining relevant, responsive, and forward-looking.”
