Purdue Federal Credit Union is continuing its expansion into Northwest Indiana with a new ATM and video teller on the Purdue University Northwest campus.
Kenneth Holford, chancellor of Purdue University Northwest, and Darrick Weeks, president and CEO of Purdue Federal Credit Union, cut the ribbon celebrating the milestone on Sept. 22 at 2410 169th St. in Hammond.
“This is another step forward in our market expansion efforts in Northwest Indiana and in strengthening our partnership with PNW,” said Darrick Weeks, president and CEO of Purdue Federal, in a press release. “We're proud to bring convenient, full-service financial tools directly to the PNW community, and we look forward to growing alongside them.”
Students, faculty and staff, along with the community, can manage their accounts with a live representative via the video teller like branches in Crown Point and La Porte.
“We are very pleased that Purdue Federal continues to expand our partnership by adding this resource for our students,” Holford said. “The convenience of an ATM on campus will help our busy students manage their finances with confidence while pursuing their education and engaging in university life.”
Purdue Federal Credit Union was founded in 1969 on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. The financial cooperate now has more than 114,000 members around the country and assets of about $2.1 billion.
