PIRTEK Merrillville franchise owners Matt and Angharad Krasowski celebrated a grand opening with the Crossroads Chamber on May 22.

“We're excited for what lies ahead and look forward to helping you with all of your hydraulic and industrial hose needs for years to come,” the couple shared in a Facebook post.

The location at 90 W. 79th Ave. first opened as an emergency mobile hydraulic and industrial hose service provider in 2023 but now offers full services and a supply center.

PIRTEK specializes in hydraulic and industrial hose maintenance and replacement for many industries, including construction, recycling, garbage and waste disposal, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, energy, landscaping, mining, defense and agriculture.

They also make hoses while customers wait.

“We are proud of what they have built and excited to see what is ahead for PIRTEK Merrillville,” said a post on the PIRTEK's Facebook page.

Rockledge, Florida-based PIRTEK has opened 12 new locations since the start of the year, according to Power&Motion. It has more than 200 franchise locations in the U.S.
