The Chesterton European Market will open its 23rd season on May 2, according to the Duneland Chamber of Commerce.
The “beloved” market is an annual tradition that attracts local residents and visitors. It offers a mix of baked goods, gourmet food, farm-fresh produce, arts and crafts, clothing and other products.
“The European Market is more than a place to shop, it's a celebration of community,” said Maura Mundell, president of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, in a press release. “We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another incredible season filled with local flavor, creativity and connection.”
The market's vendors include artists, chefs, merchants and farmers from Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.
Arrested Sounds will organize performances by local artists.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday, May through October, at Broadway and Third Street. Watch a video about the market here.
