IronWorkz launches Incubator-ish

Gary-based IronWorkz announced the launch of CoreWorkz, the first track in its new multi-level business foundations program: Incubator-ish.

Built for first-time entrepreneurs and side hustlers, CoreWorkz provides an entry point into a larger pathway for entrepreneurial growth across Northwest Indiana. Incubator-ish is a training program designed to help emerging founders build, structure and sustain their businesses.

The full program includes three levels:

  • CoreWorkz – For idea-stage and early-stage entrepreneurs (launching fall 2025)
  • NetWorkz – For active businesses seeking structure and clarity (coming soon)
  • ProWorkz – For experienced business owners ready to grow and sustain (coming soon)

CoreWorkz is an 8-week in-person program. Through coaching, tools and community support, learners will:

  • Complete a lean business model canvas
  • Develop their brand identity (colors, logo, fonts, pitch deck templates)
  • Learn to communicate their business with a clear 1-minute pitch
  • Gain an understanding of their ideal target market and customer persona, along with tools to validate their assumptions through real-world feedback
  • Join the IronWorkz Network for continued mentorship and growth

“A lot of people are doing the work of entrepreneurship without realizing they’re already in the game,” said Faith Spencer, IronWorkz founder and CEO, in a press release. “Incubator-ish is our way of giving structure to their hustle and helping them build something that lasts, starting with CoreWorkz.”

Applications are open for CoreWorkz. The deadline to apply is Aug. 31. Sessions begin Sept. 17. Learn more here.
