HAMMOND – The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana has named Tara Kristoff as its new flight director.
She will work as a flight instructor, guiding students through the hands-on missions that show science, technology, math and engineering in action.
“I’m passionate about science, and I look forward to instilling that passion in kids, too,” said Kristoff. “Science really is a verb, not a noun.”
She will also work with teacher to show them the benefits of bringing students in for missions and how they correspond with increasing standards in education as well as incorporating the communication skills necessary to succeed in college.
