IEDC 2024 yearbook includes 13 regional companies

The Indiana Economic Development Corp.'s 2024 “Entrepreneurship Indiana” yearbook included 13 businesses from Northwest and North Central Indiana.

The third edition of the publication features the stories of 100 small business owners from around the state.

“Indiana is having a moment, and we wouldn’t be here without the tireless and courageous commitment of our entrepreneurial ecosystem — the dreamers, the risk takers and the trailblazers charting their own path while lifting up those around them,” wrote Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg and Chief Strategy Officer Ann Lathrop in the introduction of the yearbook.

Northwest Indiana companies listed include:

  • El Popular, East Chicago
  • Erosion & Construction Solutions, Merrillville
  • holm.site, Gary
  • La Porte County Makerspace, La Porte
  • Milmar Post Buildings, La Porte
  • SafetyGlow, Cedar Lake
  • WeCreate, Valparaiso

North Central Indiana companies listed include:

  • Graze by Erica, Elkhart
  • A Bite with Mee, South Bend
  • Brain Lair Books, South Bend
  • Rides2U, South Bend
  • Code Works., South Bend
  • FloVision Solutions, South Bend

Erosion & Construction Solutions was 2024 Society of Innovators at PNW inductee, and its co-owner DJ Moore was the 2024 NW-ISBDC E-Day Small Business Person. El Popular also was an E-Day award winner for family-owned business.

Find a full list of companies honored this year on the Indiana for the Bold website. The IEDC publishes the yearbook in partnership with PATTERN. Nominations for next year are already being taken. Companies must be located in Indiana.
