Crown Point Rotary Club to host Blues, Brews & BBQ

The Crown Point Rotary Club will host its annual festival, featuring eateries, breweries and blues bands, on Sept. 14.

The family-friendly festival is in its 20th year. This year’s event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in the industrial building.

This year's music lineup includes Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse, Funky Mojo Daddy (Kenny Kinsey) and A Patch of Blues. Learn more about about the event here.

Proceeds from the festival will be used to continue funding the Rotary Club’s community and international projects. They include the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, Meals on Wheels, St. Jude House, Shoes for Kids and other community organizations.

The Crown Point Rotary Club serves the community and promotes the fellowship of business, professional and community leaders. The club in Crown Point was founded in 1936. Rotary is a global network with 46,000 clubs and 1.4 million members.
