The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is seeking nominations for its 2024 Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.
Also known as E-Day, the awards have been celebrated for more than 30 years. The stories of entrepreneurs and business advocates are highlighted during the event, which will be Nov. 13 this year.
“Our annual E-Day continues to shine a spotlight on the impact players (have) within our small business and entrepreneurial community,” said NW-ISBDC Regional Director Lorri Feldt in a press release. “Our team looks forward to sharing these successes every year.”
Small businesses and entrepreneurs in the seven-county area of Northwest Indiana, including Lake, Porter, La Porte, Starke, Jasper, Pulaski and Newton counties, are eligible to be nominated. Applicants must have three years of performance history and significant business growth potential.

- Family-owned business
- Emerging small business
- Small business advocate
- Advocate for youth entrepreneurship

The annual E-Day celebration will take place Nov. 13 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville. About 300 people attend the event each year.
The NW-ISBDC‘s one-on-one services are offered at no cost for entrepreneurs starting or growing their businesses.
