Indiana Trial Lawyers Association names lawyer to board

David Wilson, founder of Merrillville-based Wilson & Novak Law Offices, recently joined the board of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.

“David brings years of experience in the courtroom and a deep understanding of personal injury law,” said David Novak, Wilson & Novak Law Offices partner, in a press release. “His appointment to the ITLA is a testament to his professional integrity and standing among his peers.”

Since the start of his career, Wilson has concentrated on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He has handled thousands of personal injury cases and represented clients in nearly 100 civil trials throughout Indiana and Illinois. He has also handled cases for automobile, specialty and general liability insurance companies.

Wilson is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is also a member of the American Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and was named Super Lawyer by SuperLawyers.com.

Wilson’s appointment was effective May 1. He will participate in upcoming initiatives that focus on continuing education for trial lawyers, public outreach and advocacy at the state legislature.

The Indiana Trial Lawyers Association lobbies for equal protection under the law for all persons in Indiana. The nonprofit organization is based in Indianapolis. The Indiana Trial Lawyers Association was established in 1956.
