Alex Dunlap invited to Inner City Capital Connections cohort

Alex Dunlap III, CEO of Merrillville-based Around the Clock Ambulance, will join the 2024 cohort of the Inner City Capital Connections program.

The executive leadership training program is designed to help small business owners in under-resourced communities. The program aims to build capacity and resiliency for longterm growth.

Program participants attend in-person and virtual seminars, and complete digital learning modules. They also receive individual coaching during the 40-hour “mini-MBA” program. Attendees will receive tools and resources to scale, grow and sustain their businesses.

“I am both honored and humbled to have been accepted into this prestigious program,” Dunlap said in a press release. “I continue to look for viable opportunities to ensure my company's growth and sustainability. ICCC offers information, resources and networking that align with my business goals.”

Dunlap has served as the CEO of Around the Clock Ambulance since January 2017. He earned his degree in computer information systems, system analysis and design from Purdue University. During his academic years, Dunlap was VP of the Minority Technology Association and a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

Around the Clock Ambulance is a private ambulance medical transportation service. It serves Lake, La Porte, Porter, St. Joseph and Marion counties. Around the Clock Ambulance provides advanced life support and basic life support ambulance transportation.

Inner City Capital Connections is based in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The company aims to drive inclusive economic prosperity in under-resourced communities through programs that foster jobs, income and wealth for local residents. Inner City Capital Connections focuses on supporting BIPOC-, women-, veteran- and immigrant-owned businesses.
