Centier Bank promotes Cedar Lake branch manager to assistant VP

Merrillville-based Centier Bank promoted Janelle Spinder to assistant vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Cedar Lake branch.

Spindler has almost a decade of experience in the banking industry. She joined Centier Bank in 2018 as an assistant branch manager. Spindler was promoted to Cedar Lake branch manager in 2020, serving clients at the bank’s Strack and Van Til in-store branch.

Centier Bank’s new Cedar Lake branch opened on April 29.

“I am so proud to welcome clients to our beautiful, new Cedar Lake branch,” Spindler said in a press release. “Centier believes in growing with the community, and our new branch is a testament to our commitment to serving the Cedar Lake community for years to come.”

Spindler is a resident of Cedar Lake. She serves on Cedar Lake Chamber’s board of directors, is president of Hanover Jr. Wildcats Football and Cheer and hosts financial literacy classes through Junior Achievement.

Centier Bank has over 60 offices, serving 11 counties in Indiana. Founded in 1895, the bank has over 1,000 associates. Centier Bank has ranked on Forbes’ list of Best-in-State-Banks annually from 2018-2023.
