Manufacturers group accepting award nominations

The Indiana Manufacturers Association is seeking nominations for its 2024 Manufacturing Excellence Awards.

The awards highlight companies and individuals throughout Indiana for contributions to the industry and their impact on the future of manufacturing in the state.

Nominations are open for the following categories:

  • Manufacturing Talent Champion (individual or company). This award recognizes a company or individual who has worked to attract Indiana’s next-generation manufacturing workforce.
  • Emerging Leader (individual). This award honors a leader who has worked in the manufacturing industry for less than 10 years, contributed to the industry, served professional organizations and pursued professional development.
  • Community Impact (company). This award recognizes a company that has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service.
  • Innovation Excellence (company). This award showcases a company that has brought an innovative concept to market and engages the workforce to bring new ideas to life.
  • Lifetime Achievement (individual). This award honors an individual who has worked in the manufacturing industry for the majority of their career and has contributed to their company, industry, community, the IMA or other professional organizations.

Anyone may nominate an individual or company active in Indiana’s manufacturing industry. Self-nominations are encouraged. The deadline for nominations is Sept. 6. More information about the awards and nominations is available here.

Nominees and winners will be recognized Oct. 16 at the Manufacturers Hall of Fame luncheon. The event will take place at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis-based Indiana Manufacturers Association works to create, protect and promote manufacturing jobs in Indiana. It represents over 1,100 companies. The association was formed in 1901.
