CROWN POINT – The second annual Shrine of Christ’s Passion Golf Classic will be Sept. 17 at White Hawk Country Club.

St. John’s Shrine of Christ’s Passion is a Northwest Indiana landmark with 40 life-size bronze statues. It provides a spiritual journey highlighting the struggle and passion of Christ’s life. The guided tour is led by volunteers.

The shrine is open year round and is free to the public. The golf classic is the shrine’s only fund-raising event.
