Officials at St. Catherine Hospital celebrated the expanded Women’s Diagnostic Center with a ribbon cutting Sept. 15.
The center on the hospital’s first floor at 4321 Fir St. now has a more welcoming reception and waiting area, expanded exam rooms, 3D mammography technology and private changing rooms.
“Every detail delineated in this renovation was designed to put our patients at ease and to reduce anxiety during their visit,” said Leo Correa, CEO of St. Catherine Hospital, in a press release. “The Women’s Diagnostic Center of St. Catherine Hospital has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. Enhancements like these contribute to our reputation.”
The center also offers bone density and ultrasound services, along with a private consultation room for discussions about follow-up plans.
