As promised during Global Entrepreneurship Week in November, the state launched ConnectIND, a digital platform for entrepreneurs and founders.
“Hoosier entrepreneurs are drivers of Indiana’s economic growth, leaders of innovation and builders of Indiana communities,” said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers in a press release. “An essential piece of our 5E strategy is entrepreneurship, and we’re committed to giving entrepreneurs the tools needed to succeed.”
The 5E strategy also includes environment, economy, energy and external engagement.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. developed the digital resource with Baltimore-based EcoMap.
“ConnectIND is a result of Indiana’s focus on entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and it represents a critical step forward in fostering connectivity across the state,” Chambers said.
The portal offers resources for businesses from those with a great idea to mature companies. The goal is to connect “entrepreneurs with the right resources at the right time.” The IEDC will maintain the site.
