SOUTH BEND – A $14 million upgrade of the terminal at South Bend Regional Airport has been completed. The project took 27 months to complete, said John Schalliol, executive director of the airport.
While he said the project won’t likely attract new airlines to the airport, he said the goal was to attract more passengers. The new terminal has a business center, a water feature, a restaurant, a children’s play area, a gift shop and a new area for the TSA.
