RENSSELAER – ConAgra Foods is expanding its Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn operation in Rensselaer.

The company said it will invest $15.6 million over the next two year, creating an additional 24 jobs.

Part of the expansion includes $175,000 in tax credits to ConAgra from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Additionally, Rensselaer and the Jasper County Economic Development Organization approved tax abatement for ConAgra.
