HAMMOND – More than a dozen South Shore arts and culture organizations will take part in Explore the South Shore II from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Indiana Welcome Center.
The first 500 families attending will receive a “passport of savings” for coupons and discounts throughout the region. Giveaways and chances to win other items will also be available.
Event participants include the Lubeznik Center for the Arts, Towle Theater, Taltree Arboretum & Gardens, Indiana Ballet Theatre, Panorama Now-Find the Fun, South Shore Arts, Books, Brushes and Bands for Education, Northwest Indiana Symphony, Carnegie Arts Center of East Chicago, South Shore Dance Alliance, Fair Oaks Farms and 119th Street Artists.
