Purdue Cal hosts ‘marketing yourself’ panel

HAMMOND – Purdue University Calumet will host “You vs. Economy: Marketing Yourself in a Tough Economy,” a program on how to land or maintain job security during the current economy.

The program will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the Student Union & Library – Room with a View.

A three-member panel will discuss the issue. They are Mary Jo Dolasinski, vice president of talent, learning and communications for White Lodging Services Corp.; John Lucas, professor of human resources management at Purdue Calumet; and Wilbur C. Milhouse III, president and CEO of Milhouse Engineering and Construction Inc.

The program is part of the Purdue Alumni Calumet Platinum Speaker Series.

“This diverse group of panelists can offer a meaningful and ingenious perspective or recent graduates, as well as those with years of experience,” said Lisa Sargent, co-chair of the Purdue Alumni Calumet Professional Development Committee.
