University of Saint Francis names finance vice president

Craig Teetsel is the new vice president for finance at the University of Saint Francis.

Teetsel will be part of the cabinet for college president Rev. Dr. Eric Albert Zimmer.

“We are pleased to have Craig become part of the leadership of the University of Saint Francis,” Zimmer said. “He brings a strong background in finance and is already a valuable part of the USF community with his commitment to our Catholic, Franciscan values.”

Teetsel, a native of Fort Wayne, has been with USF since 2011 and will begin his new position on Aug. 24. He has served as USF controller since 2013 and prior to that was the college’s director of financial reporting.

“I’m excited to join the leadership team of the university and work closely with Fr. Zimmer to continue moving USF forward,” Teetsel said. “I’m honored to be a part of USF’s impact in changing students’ lives and helping them make a difference in their communities.”

Teetsel earned a Master of Business Administration from USF in 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2003.

Prior to joining USF, he worked with Lincoln Financial Group; BKD LLP; and International Truck and Engine.

The University of Saint Francis has campuses in Crown Point and Fort Wayne.
