VALPARAISO – United Way of Porter County, in conjunction with the Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network, will hold a workshop on how to reduce poverty in the community from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, at Ivy Tech in Valparaiso.
The seminar, Bridges Out of Poverty, is based on the book by the same name, and is aims at employers, government, law enforcement, community organizations, counselors, health care and social service providers.
