Franciscan will soon open the new location for its ExpressCare and WorkWell office in St. John.
The new site at 8345 Wicker Ave. replaces the former site at 11355 W. 97th Lane in St. John, which closed April 12. A representative for Franciscan said the new location will open before the end of May.
Franciscan operates ExpressCare locations in Crown Point, Hobart, Michigan City, Munster, Portage, Rensselaer and Valparaiso.
Franciscan ExpressCare provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening illnesses and conditions. No appointment is needed, and the facility is open Monday through Saturday.
