A total of 103 manufacturing jobs will be lost when the plant closes at year’s end.
The company said the move is part of a restructuring plan previously announced in June 2016.
Layoffs will be gradual, the company said. About 40 people will be affected by the initial layoffs, which will begin Sept. 24.
Hourly employees at the plant are represented by Local 1118 of the International Association of Machinists and Local 941 of the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America.
CTS said closure agreements have been negotiated with each union.
