SOUTH BEND – Best. Week. Ever. 2018 (BWE) returns May 28 – June 3, 2018 for a weeklong celebration of culture, progress, and creativity. BWE invites South Bend residents to share passions, bring big ideas, and be a part of making “Best. Week. Ever.” live up to its name. Applications are now available for those who wish to host a micro-experience, offer a promotion, volunteer or sponsor.
Micro-experiences add hands-on, experiential elements to each signature event. Each day of BWE will center on and highlight one or two signature events. Individuals and/or businesses are encouraged to come up with ideas that tie into and enhance what will be happening each day. Micro-experience hosts will receive promotion on the BWE website, schedule and social media; promotional items such as window clings and stickers; trained and professional event staff to assist in coordinating logistics; and select equipment may be available for rent. For complete details on micro-experience requirements, list of confirmed signature events and the application, please visit www.bestweekever2018.com.
Promotions offer weeklong value to your normal business offering. This could be in the form of featured products, contests, discounts, special exhibits open for the week, etc. BWE promotions should take place at the business and be offered the entire week. Promotion hosts will receive recognition on the website, schedule and social media; promotional items such as window clings and stickers; and trained and professional event staff to assist in brainstorming. For complete details on promotion requirements, promotion suggestions and the application, please visit www.bestweekever2018.com.
Two other ways to engage with BWE are through fiscal sponsorship and/or volunteering. There are still various naming rights opportunities available. For interest in sponsoring, please contact Adam Miller at amiller@southbendin.gov. For interest in volunteering, please contact Amy Roush at aroush@southebndin.gov.
