SOUTH BEND — Downtown South Bend Inc.’s (DTSB) February First Fridays celebrates “Fire & Ice” this Friday, February 3rd from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Free entertainment, live demonstrations, food & drink specials, and other activities can be found throughout downtown South Bend within the 38 participating businesses.
February's “Fire & Ice” themed First Fridays will have ice carvers, 500 luminaries lining Michigan Street, and a special fireworks show that will include a choreographed River Lights presentation. Also, enjoy fiery food and drink specials, amazing Winter Restaurant Week deals, Meet Me in the Gallery at the South Bend Museum of Art, live music, and much more.
For easy transportation, Transpo will be offering free shuttle rides throughout downtown. The shuttle will run at each stop every 15 minutes from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The shuttle rides will also include a free mini tour of downtown, as the Shuttle Tour Guide entertains riders with historical tidbits, fun facts, and info on First Friday activities and promotions.
