The Franciscan Alliance Foundation presented the 2nd Annual St. Monica Home Tea Party Fundraiser at the Marian Education Center at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point. The party was hosted by foundation board members Carol Highsmith, left, and Shar Miller. The 130 guests enjoyed tea, finger sandwiches, scones and lush desserts. Each guest was asked to bring an unwrapped baby gift for St. Monica Home, which is located on the campus of Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Dyer and provides housing, prenatal care, clothing, support services, and education for adolescent teens and infants who have no other means of support. For more information on how to support St. Monica, call the foundation at (219) 661-3402.
