LA PORTE – It’s two minutes until the auction closes. You have the highest bid. Someone inches in, but you counteract with a faster click of the mouse. Will you win it? The Foundation is pleased to launch an interactive online auction in conjunction with the 26th Annual Healthcare Scholarship Golf Tournament.
The auction goes live June 1 at www.biddingforgoods.com/lpfoundation, and signature items up for bid range from tickets to several sporting events including Notre Dame & Chicago White Sox, to golf packages and a vacation home in Venice, Florida. The auction closes June 12 at 5:30 pm – at the end of the golf tournament.
All proceeds benefit The Foundation’s scholarship fund, which in 2013 totaled more than $40,000 to help fund healthcare scholarships for the communities served by IU Health La Porte and Starke hospitals.
