CROWN POINT — On Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, 2014 a Health and Wellness Expo will be held at the Radisson Star Plaza Hotel in Merrillville, Indiana. Hosted by the Foundation for Molecular Medicine (FFMM) of Crown Point, this annual event will include exhibitors, demonstrations, health screenings, presentations and celebrity guests.

Featured during the two-day event will be Brian Hansen, a Two-Time Olympian in Long Track Speedskating from the north suburbs of Chicago.

The expo is a fundraising event to support the work of the Foundation for Molecular Medicine, which is a non-profit organization that focuses on cancer research, early detection, and education on health and wellness programs that prevent cancer and other degenerative diseases.

The expo hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, and 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday. It is open to the public for a nominal fee of $4, which is discounted by half with a coupon that can be obtained from the website www.ffmm.org.
