The Kibble Kitchen Pet Pantry is one of the hundreds of non-profits participating in the inaugural NWIgives event, scheduled for Feb. 12. Organized and presented by Legacy Foundation and Lake Area United Way, NWIgives is an innovative, one-day online fundraising event that encourages individuals to donate as much money as possible in support of their favorite charities across Lake, Porter and La Porte counties.
“The Kibble Kitchen Pet Pantry makes a difference every day by assisting pet owners struggling with economic hardship by providing free pet food and supplies until the pet owner is once again able to afford to care for their pet,” Michelle Duca, executive director of the Kibble Kitchen Pet Pantry said. “We are excited to partner with other non-profits across Northwest Indiana to see how much we can raise to serve our communities.”
Beginning at midnight Feb. 12 and continuing until 11:59 p.m., people throughout Northwest Indiana can go online to www.NWIgives.razoo.com, connect with causes like the Kibble Kitchen Pet Pantry, and make tax-deductible donations to support the important work of Northwest Indiana charities. All online donations for the Kibble Kitchen made during the NWIgives Day will go directly to support the pantry’s mission.
