SBA Day with Peoples Bank

INDIANAPOLIS – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Regional Development Company (504 Loan Program) will be hosting an SBA Day with Peoples Bank. The program will be held at the Embassies of Christ, 4835 Cleveland Street., Gary, IN on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Small business owners or those needing financing to start a business can talk with small business lenders about their needs.

Registration and light refreshments begin at 5:30 p.m., program starts at 6 p.m. with presenters and bankers on hand at 7 p.m. to meet one on one and to answer questions.

“SBA Day with the Bank” is designed to give small business owners or those thinking about going into business, an opportunity to get personalized attention from SBA, its resource partners and/or Peoples Bank on how to finance a new or existing business.  Guaranty loans, what documents are needed, and how to prepare one to meet with a lender will be shared.  For those needing help starting a business, the SBDC will be on hand to talk about the steps needed to start a business.  Need to purchase a building or heavy machinery, the RCD will discuss financing through the 504 Loan Program.

Information to be shared will include:

  • What are SBA  guaranteed loans
  • Planning for your growth or start up
  • Loans that can help you buy a new building with as little as 10% down
  • Loans that can help you refinance existing business assets
