VALPARAISO – Taltree Arboretum’s Railway Garden is scheduled to open Saturday, April 30 at 450 W. County Road 100 North.
The G-gauge railway will take visitors through a garden that provide discovery opportunities for all ages.
Hundreds of miniature and dwarf conifers, diminutive trees and shrubs and ground hugging perennials are the backdrop for up to nine trains to run simultaneously.
Visitors enter the Railway Garden through a 1920s-era railroad depot with vintage benches and panoramic views of the garden.
