VALPARAISO – Jacob’s Ladder Pediatric Rehabilitation Center has announced an upcoming Cinco de Mayo fund-raising event at Sand Creek Country Club from 5:30 to 7:30p.m. on Thursday, May 3.

The event will feature a silent auction, a fajita bar and margaritas. The center also is seeking corporate sponsorships for the event and silent auction donation items.

The annual Cinco de Mayo event is the only fundraiser for Jacob’s Ladder. “With every $100 we raise at this event, we can provide services to a child in need for one month,” said Erica Passauer, event chairwoman and board member.
