HAMMOND – More than 750 participants will compete in the “world’s fastest triathlon” on June 3 in Hammond. Leon’s Triathlon will begin at 8 a.m. at Wolf Lake Park. It includes a 1.5K swim, a 40K bike ride and a 10K run.
It will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet affiliates across the nation.
“Comcast SportsNet and its parent company, NBC Sports, allow us to showcase Northwest Indiana’s beautiful assets to a national television audience,” said Leon Wolek, founder of Leon’s Triathlon.
