The Gary Chamber of Commerce will host its 16th Lakeshore Classic Corporate Luncheon Nov. 26.
The corporate luncheon occurs during the Lakeshore Classic. The Lakeshore Classic is a regional family-oriented event with games and activities. It aims to raise educational awareness and draw parallels between sports participation and academic achievement. The event encourages participants to focus on education, sportsmanship and civility.
This year’s luncheon keynote speaker has not yet been announced. Past keynote speakers include retired Chicago Bulls player Bob Love, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and professional baseball player, coach and manager Lloyd McClendon.
The luncheon will take place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana's Council Oak Steaks & Seafood in Gary. Learn more here.
The Gary Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business owners, community leaders and citizens who invest their time and money into a community development action plan.
