Franciscan Health is offering orthopedic and other services at its new La Porte location.
The office also houses a Franciscan WorkingWell location and a HEALTHeACCESS site.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide these services in this location for the La Porte community and beyond,” Franciscan Health Michigan City President and CEO Dean Mazzoni said in a press release. “Our newest La Porte location offers easy access for patients and the business community to additional Franciscan Health services right here in their own back yard.”
Franciscan Physician Network orthopedic surgeon Thomas Magill is available at the location at 400 Legacy Plaza West. He specializes in sports surgeries, including injuries to the hands, shoulders, and knees and hips.
Magill was trained at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago.
The new Franciscan WorkingWell office is the health system's 17th location. It works in tandem with employers to provide medical care to workers.
Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS offices provide primary care at 14 clinics for employees at participating companies.
