Centier Bank welcomes Lupita Nuñez

Merrillville-based Centier Bank recently hired Lupita Nuñez as a small business banker.

“I look forward to assisting entrepreneurs and small business owners on their journeys to providing products and services to the community and enriching lives,” Nuñez said in a press release.

Prior to joining Centier, Nuñez worked at another financial institution for 10 years. She served as a personal banker and branch manager. She also worked in the business banking department. Nuñez earned a college degree in business administration.

Nuñez lives in Crown Point and will work in the bank’s downtown Valparaiso office.

“It’s wonderful to work at a place where everyone truly enjoys being at work,” Nuñez said.

Centier Bank is a private, family-owned bank. Founded in 1895, the bank has over 60 offices across 11 counties in Indiana. In 2023, American Banker ranked Centier as the Best Bank to Work For in Indiana.
